Votiva: Strengthening the Vietnamese Retail Space with Microsoft Dynamics Solutions

Dinh Tien Dung,Managing Partner, VotivaDinh Tien Dung, Managing Partner
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) holds the potential to transform the way businesses are conducted, especially in the retail sector. However, the Vietnamese retail industry took its time to catch up with the rest of the world in terms of leveraging ERP software and was facing massive challenges in managing their operations. Even though some organizations had the tools or systems to support the operation they were not integrated. The management and employees were unable to procure the accurate data in time and lacked the flexibility to adapt quickly. In a bid to help the Vietnamese retail industry counter these challenges Votiva, a provider of retail solutions was founded. “We have decided to bring Microsoft ERP for retail solutions and experts to help Vietnamese companies to work more professionally and efficiently,” elaborates Dinh Tien Dung, Managing Partner, Votiva. Founded in 2007, Votiva offers end-to-end Microsoft ERP solutions to the retail industry right from Project Management to Business Process Consultation, and from making System Configuration and System Implementation to giving them Post Go-live and support.

Votiva deeply scrutinizes the convolutions of managing multiple systems for Finance, Supply Chain Warehouse, Point of Sales, CRM, Human Resource and Business Intelligence. Besides, the company with its Microsoft ERP solutions also counters complications such as real time financial data, budget and cash flow control, stock value and quantity, CRM & loyalty functions and Data security.
Votiva was introduced to the market as a trusted partner for Microsoft and over a period-of-time, it has been marked as the leading partner for Microsoft Dynamics in South-East Asia. Multiple industries such as manufacturing, retail, transportation and warehousing, human capital management, business insights, sales, services and marketing along with several other verticals have benefitted immensely from their association with Votiva.

When Pharmacity, a pioneer in the professional retail pharmacy space of Vietnam was looking at expanding its business to 500 stores in a span of five years, the organization put its trust in Votiva. The company helped Pharmacity upgrade its existing module to further grow their businesses. This enhancement invariably helped Pharmacity to accurately track its supply, inventory and sales through mobile application. The organization plays a key role in all projects and takes responsibilities for project management, business process consultation, system configuration, system implementation and post go-live & support.

Votiva has created several such success stories and has earned a nod of appreciation from organizations such as Starbucks in Vietnam and Cambodia; Sony; Central Retail in Vietnam; Satra and Ministop among others.

Votiva is working to stretch out its geographical border and bring the whole of South-East Asia in the next three years under Votiva’s roof. Technologically, the Votiva team plans to pursue and strengthen its current retail solutions and also to invent additional solutions which would further fortify their position as a trail blazer in the retail industry. Addressing the upcoming solutions, Dinh, confidently says, “We have already started working and are going to invent some supplemental solutions to support retail businesses such as BI for retail, smart planning and forecasting tool, smart apps for mobile retail and warehouse.”
