Pluxity Co., Ltd.: Providing a Unique Digital Twins Solution

,Jaemin Yoon, CEO, Pluxity Co., Ltd.Jaemin Yoon, CEO
As cities are getting bigger and more flexible with the growing number of connected systems, the amount of information and data that needs to be checked in real-time is exploding. Many systems such as intelligent CCTVs and IoT sensors are evolving to efficiently manage and maintain security, environmental, and traffic issues occurring in cities, but all of this information eventually is generated in space. By integrating and accumulating a lot of information based on a digital twin that mimics all spaces such as cities, buildings, and underground, you can understand the situation of the space more intuitively and quickly.

This is where Pluxity steps in.

As a leading digital twin solution provider, Pluxity uses Web 3D, VR, and AR as major interface technologies to make clients utilize the real-time information gathered and accumulated into the digital twin.

Pluxity has developed a digital twin platform, PLUG that enables administrators in a building or city to intuitively check and cope with the real-time information in 3D space.
Moreover, the platform can predict future situations by combining and analyzing the data and information gathered from space.

“Digital Twin enables us to easily identify and operate all information integrated from real world in the virtual multidimensional space,” says Jaemin Yoon, CEO of Pluxity Co., Ltd.

PLUG constitutes three core el¬ements—PLUG Builder, PLUG Manager, and its application service models. While PLUG Builder is a 3D modelling tool, PLUG Manager can integrate and manage devices and data(generated by the devic¬es) into 3D spaces. Lastly, its application service models, including security, energy, safety, and many more, pro¬vide customized digital twin solutions meeting various and complex requirements of different customers.

Pluxity understands that the digital twin is getting familiar to the public, but this is still in the early stage. As such, most of the company’s customers have no specific information to leverage it. To this end, Pluxity is focusing on providing the best experience and valuable service to its customers. They are starting with gathering the information regarding all devices installed in the site and also hearing the voices through on-site visiting. Pluxity closely works with customers to reflect their requirements correctly and then selects the best service model suitable to each site.
Once the digital twin is implemented on the customer site, Pluxity provides maintenance services to optimize the system and makes the service more user-friendly, reflecting a customer’s usage experiences and simulating and analyzing the accumulated data in PLUG Platform.

Digital Twin Enables Us To Easily Identify And Operate All Information Integrated From Real World In The Virtual Multidimensional Space

Leveraging the digital twin technology, Pluxity has successfully conducted several projects. For example, the company performed a digital twin-based security control system project for Incheon International Airport. It integrated 5,000 CCTVs and 100,000 sensors into 3D Digital twin. It saved the client 30 percent cost for overall airport monitoring and management. Also, event response time such as fire and defects of facilities was reduced by 20 percent.

Pluxity is expecting that the digital twin will become ma¬tured with the integration of the real-time information gathering through mobili¬ties such as people, au¬tomobile, driod, and drones etc. This will enable the company to interpret the complex real world more and more simply and in¬tuitively. “Pluxity will focus on investing in the core technology to reach different industries and cities,” says Yoon.
