Social media platforms are evolving into full-blown communication channels and brands rely on the platforms to reach their customers. Marketers nowadays should be seeking ideas to make their companies more improved in the coming years. They should leverage the social media platform effectively to channel their businesses. It increases brand awareness and validate it, and strengthen customer loyalty. Following are some of the tools and techniques that are empowering social media platforms:

User-generated content: Brands should take advantages of user-generated contents on social media. Companies should encourage their customers to post about their brand on different platforms using certain hashtags. This will publicize the brands all over the globe.

Augmented Reality (AR): AR personalizes interactions, which is important in marketing. The audience wants experiences of being personalized and Augmented Reality offers that personalization. Sponsors can develop filters using the platform of SnapChat as a marketing tactic because a huge number of people are using the platform.

Influencer Marketing: Influencer marketing has a great impact on social media marketing as consumers tend to follow an individual than a company. For instance, brands pay bloggers to promote their products. Generally, the bloggers have an organic following. The followers follow them because they value the opinions of the bloggers. If the blogger likes a product, his/her followers are likely to buy that product.

Live Video: Live videos leave a huge impression on the audiences. Businesses stream live videos to promote their brands. Audiences want to watch live content that can grab their attention than read a lengthy blog. Live video helps to increase the connection between customers and brands on social media platforms.

Chatbots: Chatbots will be integrated with social media platforms. Some advanced companies are already using chatbots communicate directly with their customers on social media. Consumers will feel free to share any suggestions and ask for any queries to the chatbots which eventually help to expand the business.

Marketers should make social media marketing strategies before implementing the tools on their businesses.
