    Netpluz: Good Communications Simplified

    Follow Netpluz on :

In any organization, the IT department is responsible for the productivity, security, and management of multiple tools. It takes charge of technical duties such as troubleshooting, dealing with connectivity issues, and replacing or configuring hardware and software. However, as organizations quickly scale their business, there tend to be lapses in IT policies that may increase the risk of security breach and management of network and endpoint devices and public cloud services. Similarly, as they expand geographically, organizations face challenges in managing multiple branch office infrastructure, integrating multiple private and public clouds, keeping security patches up to date. In such scenarios, the IT department can lean on a managed service provider with rich experience and expertise to reduce their burden. As a one-stop managed communications service provider for businesses, Netpluz works as an extended arm of the customer’s IT department, to fill in the gaps or support required to have a robust and secure infrastructure, keeping cost and productivity in mind. The company is always evolving to simplify and provide value to clients through various managed services in the area of data, cybersecurity, voice, video, mobility, and analytics services. It partners with the leading technology partners to provide brand-agnostic solutions that produce expected or exceeding results. As an MSP focusing on secured communications, Netpluz is a customer-centric company tackling the challenges upfront. “Our tagline 'Good Communications Simplified' is a reflection of our mission to simplify and satisfy our clients' communications needs,” says Lau Leng Fong, CEO of Netpluz.

With dedicated industry certified in-house professionals and support from leading technology partners, Netpluz provides end-to-end managed services to deliver a holistic IT approach to clients. The company offers connectivity services such as business internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, Cloud PBX, Video Conferencing, IDD as well as cloud services such as embarking on virtualization, hybrid cloud strategies, data backup, and even disaster recovery for client’s data. At the same time, Netpluz helps clients with optimizing connectivity through SD-WAN and link balancing while ensuring network diversity and redundancy with a true network diversity solution. Clients can secure connectivity using cybersecurity solutions such as Netpluz proprietary solution eSentinel, which is an all-in-one 360° cloud-based cybersecurity platform along with a security operation center and VAPT services. “This adds additional cyber defense layer, to mitigate risk, both externally and internally,” says Leng Fong.

Further, Netpluz enables clients to ensure mobility for the modern workforce and workplace with Mobility service for executives, while leveraging 4G LTE (with 5G ready solution) for ensuring immediate branch connectivity and failover solution. Finally, the company provides data analytics services to produce actionable data for businesses to optimize their resources effectively, leveraging on Wi-Fi technology, facial recognition, and video data analytics. “All in all, we first manage the connectivity, virtualize, optimize, ensure reliability, secure the network, create mobility and analyze data to further value add on the infrastructure and business requirements—we are an end-to-end value-added MSP,” mentions Leng Fong.

Our tagline 'Good Communications Simplified' is a reflection of our mission to simplify and satisfy our clients' communications needs

In the case of businesses using multiple vendor solutions, he explains that such an act leads to various complications. The resolutions time increase as multiple vendors takes more time trying to find fault or mitigate the problem to another vendor. “Whereas, we manage end-to-end solutions under a single roof, identify the root cause and problem resolution naturally is seamless,” he adds.

Among the numerous success stories of Netpluz is that of Paradise Group, a diners’ paradise for Oriental cuisine. With the need to have agility on global connectivity across 110 branches in 9 countries, Paradise Group embraced cloud computing to digitally transform their global communications. As the business grows, the need to be cyber resilient is imminent. Netpluz managed to implement a deep learning solution that leverages neural networks to detect malicious activities, securing critical data with proper disaster recovery in place. Netpluz successfully implemented and managed a robust networking and communication framework for Paradise Group and helped them achieve a whopping 20 percent cost-savings on secure networking across their headquarters and outlets in Singapore. Additionally, Netpluz has implemented an intelligent queue management solution for the client that is forecasted to achieve at least 40 percent cost-saving on voice services. "No other service providers were able to take a step back to understand my challenges, and Netpluz offered to go the extra mile. We are proud to have Netpluz Asia as our IT solutions provider,” says Keith Kee, IT Manager of Paradise Group.

Having a customer-centric approach has helped Netpluz gain credibility and trustworthiness among its valued customers. In fact, the company’s recent survey done in March 2020 Netpluz recorded a 95 percent satisfaction rate by its customers. Along with a focus on customers, the company leverages the combined experience in managed services of over two decades of its team to stay ahead of the curve. Keeping abreast with the latest best practices and technologies, Netpluz encourages its employees to take up industry-recognized certifications and courses to serve clients with up to date trends.

As part of managed services, Netpluz provides 24x7x365 technical helpdesk and network operations center support with a dedicated account management approach and flexibility. “We have invested in our core infrastructure to provide reliability and availability and to further differentiate from the competition, our network infrastructure is only available for business customers,” says Leng Fong. For SMEs, the biggest value that Netpluz provides is that it offers dedicated account managers, a single point of contact for all their requirements. He points out that businesses are often dissatisfied and frustrated trying to reach out to their service providers for an issue that requires immediate resolution, and are often faced with slow response times or even trying to find the right person. On the other hand, Netpluz provides quick response times to help our customers.

Elucidating about the business requirements in the current COVID-19 situation, Leng Fong says that traditional IT businesses that solely rely on CAPEX selling are now venturing into the managed services arena. This trend drives Netpluz to improve on its offerings and proprietary solutions to differentiate and stay ahead of the competition to provide world-class support to its expanding base of more than 2000 clients in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. "This way, we will continue on our main mission to simplify and satisfy the communications needs of our customers.”
