MEDICAL IP: Empowering the Future of Healthcare with Innovative Technologies

    Follow MEDICAL IP on :

,Dr. Park, Sang Joon, Founder & CEO , MEDICAL IPDr. Park, Sang Joon, Founder & CEO
The global healthcare business is confronted with an unfathomable number of difficulties, ranging from aging populations to staff shortages to rising expenses, all of which are putting a massive strain on institutions, doctors, workers, patients, and communities. As a result, there is a greater demand for on-demand services and assistance. With current resources and methods, this is not a viable option. As the year 2022 approaches, healthcare providers will continue to strive better to serve their patients, doctors, and nursing staff.

Three trends, in particular, are projected to intensify for healthcare providers — Consumerization, automation, and consolidation are all on the rise. Over the last year, an increasing number of hospitals and health systems have been implementing patient journey automation to reduce much of the human administrative and clinical work that goes into patient care.

Today, hospitals are looking more closely than ever at the effectiveness of infection prevention and control (IP&C) programs powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to better monitor patients in real-time with quick infection risk identification and early clinical intervention. One company, Medical IP, is leading the future of healthcare with emerging technologies.
They develop various medical imaging analysis technology based on AI and medical 3D printing technology to reduce the time and cost of medical staff and patients' pain.

Medical IP's AI technology is an ideal platform that boosts the creativity of medical professionals and patients while also solving a variety of medical problems and contributing to society with life-saving innovations. MEDICALIP CEO Park Sang Joon said in an interview with News Tomato that the commercialized AI analysis technology is targeted at predicting and preventing diseases.

The company provides a range of solutions to elevate patient care. The solutions that they offer include: AI-powered Segmentation solution, 3D printing solution, and contact-free service. Under their AI-powered solution, they have DeepCatch, Medip, MedipPneumovid, TiSepX products. These AI-powered products are used efficiently by prioritizing treatment according to the severity of the patient's conditions. MedipPneumovid is the 1st free software for AI-driven automatic CT analysis of COVID-19 Pneumonia.

The MEDIP Pneumovid is a software interface and image segmentation system designed to automatically quantify COVID-19 pneumonia in CT DICOM images using automatic segmentation of distinctive ground-glass dominated lesions in the lung parenchyma. With measurements of the extent and weight of COVID-19 pneumonia, MEDIP Pneumovid provides lung and lesion segmentation. The other solution is 3D printing, which uses advanced 3D printing technology called ANATDEL, which is similar to actual organs in texture, sensation, and elasticity.

We are creating a future that will enable a better medical experience and service

This service includes targeted multi-organ segmentation and numerical analysis, including 3D printing processes. The company has made a 3D digital anatomy table with a multi-touch screen and rotation function in order to view actual patient medical images for a large number of people, which is their last solution.

In one of their testimonials, Dr. Chul-Kee Park, MD, Ph.D., Seoul National University Hospital, mentioned that Medical IP has a variety of dynamics to give shapes to the blueprint of the future medical atmosphere. As 2022 approaches, healthcare providers and businesses should develop their strategies to stay ahead of the game.
