Even though the concept of virtualization was born in the 1960s, it is only in the recent years that it has been democratized. Its perks, however, are still a distant dream for many entities (especially SMBs) due to the significant IT resource and budget required. By assisting SMBs in reaping the benefits of virtualization, a group of certified and experienced IT professionals founded the Malaysia-based CLL Systems. With its diversify solution such as cloud computing, data protection, enterprise server & storage, hyper-converged solutions and professional services, CLL Systems allows organizations to trim their downtimes, increase flexibility, and recommends ways to use hardware more efficiently.

CLL Systems’ cloud portfolio of services encompasses isProtect (known as infrastructure as a service, IaaS), bkProtect (known as backup as a service, BaaS), and drProtect (known as disaster recovery-as-a-service, DRaaS), which can transform an organization’s legacy infrastructure into a virtual infrastructure. “Migrating data centers into the cloud is one of our bigger implementations, and we tie-up with VMware and Veeam for such virtualization and consolidation projects,” mentions Kenny Low, Director, Technical, CLL Systems.

Founded in 2008, CLL Systems has catered to over 500 multi-national and local companies, and public sector organizations so far. But its primary focus has always been SMBs.

The company provides end-to-end services that cover every aspect of virtualization starting from design, implementation, migration, to maintenance of server and storage virtualization, virtualization assessments, and desktop virtualization. Also, it ensures that the virtual infrastructures are deployed in lesser time frames and are also cost-effective.

Migrating to virtual infrastructure is a costly bet and involves a lot of risks. “We offer consulting services to mitigate every risk that might come a client’s way. The consulting services focus on strategies, operations, digital transformations, analytics amongst other aspects for fulfilling customer needs,” enunciates Eric Yeap, Director, Sales & Marketing, CLL Systems.

There is an instance where one of the SMB player, an independent software vendor was operating multiple data centers in Malaysia. Owing to its legacy hardware, the vendor was unable to scale according to its evolving business requirements. The client wanted a data center transformation program and approached CLL Systems for its assistance. CLL Systems initiated a virtualization and server consolidation project for the client, superseding the obsolete hardware with new hardware. CLL Systems also examined the attributes needed for data center consolidation, administration issues, and cost-saving strategies for its customer.

Eric says, “Our commitment and approach towards our customers are what sets us apart.” The consultants and engineers at CLL Systems bring in their wealth of experience to deliver the best of solutions to their customers.

Keeping pace with the evolving trends in the virtualization technology, CLL Systems is gearing up to enhance its virtualization security by dynamically migrating from on-premise virtualization to the cloud. Currently, the company utilizes the virtualization platform to craft its own public cloud solutions to provide service such as IaaS, BaaS, and DRaaS, all through its own data centers supporting business transformation and meet business needs. Moving ahead, CLL Systems anticipates partnering with bigger firms, experienced people, and provide right solutions and technology to deliver an improved customer experience.
