BC Net: Redefining New-Age Business with Wireless Connectivity

Similar success stories of providing wireless internet connectivity in remote regions define BC Net’s competitive advantage in the wireless technology space. “BC Net strives to empower underserved regions with a superfast wireless internet connection,” begins Florante F. Cruz, President at BC Net. According to Cruz, businesses have become more competitive with new technologies teeming in the marketplace, sufficing the demands of customers and enabling faster data transfers between stakeholders and solution providers. However, there is a catch.
“While the industry pioneers reap the benefits of fast internet connectivity, the small and medium business organizations continue to face challenges while executing tasks in real-time,” observes Cruz. This is what BC Net precisely addresses. Staying true to the vision of making the internet accessible to all, BC Net ensures business efficiency for small and medium organizations via affordable and fast wireless internet systems.
BC Net is indeed been aggressive in reaching out to the unserved and underserved by participating in the government’s free public Wi-Fi project
BC Net provides WiFi and VoIP services to organizations across industries, along with managed and technical support services for clients, who empower customers with reliable internet connectivity in plantations, poultries, mines, farms, and other geographically isolated locations. “We help establish Internet connectivity and point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication services to clients, provisioning real-time transmission of data and enhancement of prompt communication across remote locations,” adds Cruz. In doing so, BC Net helps clients monitor business operations and sales at multiple points.
Having achieved an industry milestone in offering wireless connectivity to educational institutions, restaurants, and hospitals, BC Net reaches out to clients with its prepaid service, lowering costs in the process and make the Internet accessible to common people.
“BC Net is indeed been aggressive in reaching out to the unserved and underserved by participating in the government’s free public Wi-Fi project, meant to provide free internet access in public places all over the Philippines,” states Cruz.
That’s not all, educational institutions are significantly benefited from BC Net’s services, combined engaging content, in an attempt to enhance the value to the learners. “The company has also partnered with city governments to provide WiFi in public places; the internet is now easily available to all, free of charge,” states Cruz.
“We have deployed wireless technologies, VSAT and TV White Space, all integrated into one platform, for disseminating internet bandwidth into remote and underserved areas identified by the government,” adds Cruz. In a recently signed contract with the Department of Information and Communications Technology, BC Net has provided managed services to support the government’s Pipol Konek Free WiFi. This will enable citizens in 20 provinces to use free WiFi for an hour a day in most public places.
At present, BC Net is looking forward to focusing on radios that do not require line of sight, in order to improve wireless connectivity in the rural areas. “In addition, we plan to partner with new content providers to enhance the value proposition of our prepaid card offerings,” concludes Cruz.
